The Role
We are looking to recruit a Clinical Support Worker to join the Mental Health and Learning Difficulties team at Beckford Lodge!
The successful candidate will undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital or community setting.
The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required.
Contract type & Shift Pattern
Band 3 / Permanent / Various hours available
Rotational - Day shift / Back shift / Nightshift

What We'll Need You To Bring
- SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised
- To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
It Would Be Good If You Also Had
- Experience in forensic mental and/ or learning difficulties and/or acute/ other mental health setting
- Experience working within an emotionally demanding environmen
- Understanding of how mental health issues impact on a individuals lif
- Knowledge of issues affecting people with mental health issues and how they are cared for in the forensic mental health settin
- Knowledge of social, recreational and therapeutic activity suitable for this client group
