Sikora Law LLC is seeking a Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist or Psychological Therapist in Sunderland to cover a maternity leave, with potential secondment opportunities for current STSFT staff. The role requires the practitioner to work independently, managing their own caseload and organizing clinics while implementing evidence-based psychological interventions for clients in both group and individual formats.
The position also offers chances for professional development through teaching and training, as well as opportunities for research and clinical audit based on service requirements and the practitioner's interests. Support and supervision will be provided by senior clinical psychologists, and the practitioner will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes various healthcare professionals.
We are looking to appoint a Band 7 Practitioner Psychologist or Psychological Therapist to support a period of maternity leave in the service. This will also be a great opportunity for a secondment for any current STSFT staff. You will expected to work autonomously in relation to managing your own caseload and be responsible for the planning and organisation of your clinics and the implementation of evidence-based psychological interventions in both group and individual settings to meet the clients psychological needs. There will also be opportunities for the development and delivery of teaching and training.
There will be opportunities for research clinical audit depending on service need and the interests of the post holder. Supervision and support will be provided by a senior clinical psychologists. As a wider Clinical Health Psychology service we have a mix of professions working within our MDT services including a specialist nurse, specialist physiotherapists and a specialist OT.
