Forensic Rehab is an 16 bedded male ward that is situated within the Blair unit in Royal Cornhill Hospital. The opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic person to join our team in Forensic Rehab as a Band 3 Senior Health Care Support Worker. This is a challenging but rewarding post in which the successful candidate will support the registered nursing staff in providing a safe therapeutic environment for patients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Forensic Services. The post is 37hrs per week over an 8 week period, covering day, night rotation and weekends. The candidate should have good inter –personal skills and the ability to work within a team. The service has an established Forensic Team and the applicant must have effective communication skills. The role incorporates giving support to patients and carers whilst working in partnership with the Forensic Team to provide a high level of care.
