Job Title: Support Worker
Location: RSAP, Powerhouse, Liverpool
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,965.41 (increases to £27,112.48 after 18 months)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm)

Overview:
Riverside is seeking a Support Worker to assist individuals who have experienced homelessness and are now in temporary accommodation. The role involves providing housing-related support, connecting customers with services like employability coaching, and helping them manage finances and secure benefits to transition to permanent housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support customers in rebuilding their lives by enhancing confidence and providing practical help (e.g., employment resources, financial management).
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with a team and engage in community outreach, depending on customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals and delivering structured support.
  • Empathetic, resilient, and a team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations, ideally with relevant personal experience.
  • Flexibility in working hours is essential, as the role may include lone working.
