NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is hiring a full-time Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker for the General Outpatient Department in Glasgow. The role involves providing patient care across various specialties like ENT, Dermatology, and Oncology, under the nursing and multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include assisting with procedures, conducting observations, managing clinic tasks using Trakcare, chaperoning, and performing venepuncture (training provided).

Candidates should have experience in a caring role, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. Previous outpatient experience and the ability to perform venepuncture are preferred but not mandatory. Flexibility to support service needs, including multi-site working, is required.

The position follows a Monday to Friday work schedule and is subject to PVG Scheme Membership. NHS Scotland is transitioning to a reduced 37-hour work week starting April 2024.
