The Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking to hire Band 2 Health Care Support Workers (HCSWs) for their busy Emergency Department at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Pontyclun. The positions are available for both full- and part-time roles. Successful candidates will work under the supervision of registered nurses, performing essential patient care tasks such as monitoring vital signs and assisting with nutritional needs. Strong communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. While proficiency in Welsh is desirable, applicants who speak either Welsh or English are encouraged to apply. The Health Board serves approximately 450,000 residents across the Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, and Rhondda Cynon Taf areas.
