The role of "Teacher of Wellbeing" at ThirtySomethingFashion in Aberdeen primarily involves working within the ASN (Additional Support Needs) & Outreach Service, focusing on teaching creatively and independently to benefit children and young people. R oles that require PVG Membership
Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023 , where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership . This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above . (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30,285 per annum / £ 16.64 per hour)
The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members , and this cost will be deducted from an employee's first FULL month's salary payment.
Job Purpose/about The Role
This is a very unique post which sits within our ASN & Outreach Service. Alongside all of the requirements set out in other parts of this advert, please note that the preferred candidate will be required to demonstrate a high degree of skill in working independently, and teaching creatively. This is a part time post (0.6 FTE) with the working pattern scheduled to fit around clinic times and ward rounds, in order that the children and young people who are open to the service gain maximum benefit.
The Post Holder Needs To Hold As a Minimum
An appropriate teaching qualification.
Full GTC (Scotland) registration in the appropriate subject/sector.
PVG scheme membership.
