Belong Newcastle-Under-Lyme is seeking a Night Care Assistant to join their dedicated team, offering a pay rate of £12.00 per hour for shifts from 10 pm to 8 am. The role involves delivering person-centered care to residents in a community-style setting, ensuring high standards of service and support. Responsibilities include providing personal care, assisting with meals, and maintaining residents' dignity and well-being while working collaboratively with colleagues and families.

- Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised
- Able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the household
- Provide assistance, personal care, activities and companionship to residents
- Be alert to residents' needs, health and wellbeing
- Respect the residents' dignity and privacy
- Work with residents and their families to deliver tailored care to each individual
- Assist with mealtimes and safe moving
- Maintain accurate records for each resident
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
- A minimum of a NVQ level 2 in health & social care or the Care Certificate along with a dedicated passion for providing exceptional care for our night team roles
