NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Specialist Community Mental Health Nurse (SCMHN) for a full-time, permanent position in Glasgow, requiring 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience in managing complex mental health needs in a community setting. Responsibilities include managing a personal caseload under the supervision of the Nurse Team Leader, coordinating care delivery, providing one-to-one support, leading treatment clinics, and offering nursing support through effective care planning and evaluation. The role also involves supervising junior staff and may require taking charge in the absence of the Nurse Team Leader. A current driving license and PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check are necessary.

We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a strong interest in working with individuals with complex mental health needs in a community setting. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload under the direct supervision from the Nurse Team Leader. You will be responsible for the co-ordination of the care delivery and the provision of direct delivery of care via mediums of one-toone sessions, treatment clinics and Resource Centre Duty. You will provide skilled nursing support and effective care planning, Implementation and evaluation of agreed interventions under the supervision of the nurse team leader. It is essential you are a Registered Mental Health Nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills with experience working in a mental health setting. You will provide supervision to junior staff and take charge in the absence of the Nurse Team Leader.
