HMP Full Sutton is a Category A and B mens prison in the village of Full Sutton in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is a half an hour drive from York city centre. The prison is purpose built and has capacity to hold 560 men in conditions of high security.
This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care.

This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, and you will work on rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.

Main duties of the job
As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
- Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
- Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics
- Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres

- Hold a NVQ Level 2 / 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent
