The Health Visitor position with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is a full-time role (37 hours per week) focused on delivering comprehensive health services to children within North West Glasgow. The ideal candidate must be a first-level registered nurse with current UK Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and hold a post-registration qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing, along with relevant experience. The role involves managing a designated caseload, implementing the Universal Pathway, conducting assessments, and ensuring evidence-based interventions while working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.

Additionally, the Health Visitor will be accountable for the quality of care provided, including specialized advice, health promotion, and interventions related to child protection and various social issues. The position offers professional support within a diverse and inclusive environment, with opportunities for leadership and collaboration in addressing the community’s public health needs.
