The Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking compassionate Theatre Healthcare Assistants to join its Theatre department at Liverpool Women's Hospital. Candidates with previous theatre experience will start at Band 3, while those without experience will begin at Band 2 and receive necessary training and support to progress to Band 3 once they achieve required competencies. The role involves providing direct patient care in a safe environment, maintaining cleanliness in the operating theatre, assisting with sterile procedures, and participating in various safety protocols under the supervision of qualified staff. Flexibility in working shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties, is essential.

Ideal candidates should possess good communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to learn. Educational qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or higher in Healthcare or equivalent are required, and applicants must be willing to complete a Care Certificate within 12 weeks if they do not have the necessary qualifications. The role emphasises patient-focused care, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards, contributing to the Trust's commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services for women, babies, and families.
