Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a Chef for the Grange University Hospital in Cwmbran to join their Facilities team. This role involves supervising and organizing catering services, ensuring high-quality meal production for patients, staff, and visitors, including special dietary requirements. The ideal candidate should have a flair for cooking, be self-motivated, and capable of managing a team. Required qualifications include City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent and a food hygiene certificate. The working hours are from 19:00 to 02:00 on a two-week rotating schedule, which includes weekends.

The job requires effective team leadership, quality auditing, and adherence to financial targets while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience in the NHS or catering industry are essential.
