Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a diverse population in Gloucester. The role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care in homes, working within a multi-disciplinary team that includes nurses and therapists. Responsibilities include performing clinical tasks such as venepuncture, wound care, and health observations, while maintaining accurate records in accordance with trust policies. Candidates are required to have a full driving license and be available for flexible shifts across all days of the week.

We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants possessing the highest standards of care and compassion in order to aid, coach and support our diverse population of patient requirements here in Gloucester.
In this role you need to be a motivated, flexible and resourceful team player who has high standards and can embrace the service changes and developments. You will be supported by a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team of Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and administrative staff, whilst providing support to the Gloucester Community. You will deliver high quality care, whilst supporting the patients with a variety of conditions and needs, in their own homes. A full driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes is required for this role.
You need to be able to work part time or full time over a shift system which includes early and late shifts across 7 days including weekends and bank holidays. On a daily basis you will be responsible for the delivery of care for a specific group of patients, ensuring you treat all patients, carers and staff with dignity and respect. Your role will involve tasks such as venepuncture, a variety of wound care, performing clinical observations and reporting changes to patients health and well-being as appropriate.
