Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a General Porter for its Wexham Park site in Slough. The role involves significant interaction with patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during their stay. Key responsibilities include transporting patients using beds, wheelchairs, or trolleys; moving equipment and furniture between wards; delivering supplies; and handling waste disposal. Porters must adhere to health and safety regulations and departmental standards while providing excellent customer service.

Candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be IT proficient, and work well in team settings while being able to perform individual tasks. Flexibility is essential as the position requires working 37.5 hours per week on a rota, including nights and weekends, with pay enhancements for unsociable hours. A Maths and English assessment is part of the application process.
