The Principal Clinical/Counselling Psychologist role at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a fixed-term position for 12 months, aimed at covering maternity leave within the Community Adult Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) in South Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will be integral to the leadership team, providing supervision and support to other psychologists and team members while actively engaging in clinical work. The position requires expertise in managing severe mental health challenges such as complex trauma, psychosis, and personality disorders, along with demonstrated leadership skills for developing innovative practices and contributing to service development.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post-holder will collaborate closely with other Principal Psychologists and the Adult Mental Health Psychology Lead to realize the service's vision while fostering a person-centered approach.
