The Oldham Early Intervention Team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a medical secretary for a four-month secondment from February to May 2025. The ideal candidate should be approachable, possess strong communication skills, and be efficient in promoting change within the team. Key responsibilities include providing secretarial support to the consultant psychiatrist, managing the administrative team, and overseeing daily office duties such as typing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and handling complex inquiries. The role requires the postholder to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support service improvements and data management related to clinical services.

The position also involves managerial supervision, ensuring the smooth operation of the administrative functions within the team, and maintaining the security of filing systems. Applicants are encouraged from diverse backgrounds, including individuals with personal experience of mental health issues.
