NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Biomedical Support Worker for its Pathology department, specifically within the Histology area. This full-time, permanent role entails providing essential laboratory support to medical and scientific staff by performing tasks such as checking laboratory specimens, entering data into the laboratory information system, assisting with specimen dissection, and managing stock control. Candidates should possess good organisational, numeracy, and literacy skills, along with a keen attention to detail and effective teamwork abilities. Qualifications required include either three Highers in relevant subjects or an SVQ3 in a related science field.

The position involves a 37-hour work week with flexible shift patterns spanning Monday to Sunday.
