NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a compassionate and motivated Health Care Support Worker to join the Older Peoples Services at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The role involves providing safe, effective, and person-centred care in a multi-disciplinary team setting, supporting registered nurses with assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The position requires individuals who are adaptable, eager to learn, and possess strong communication skills, working within a rotational shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts.

We are looking to recruit a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Health Care Support Worker in Older Peoples Services Ward 30 (18 beds), Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Your role within the nursing and multi-disciplinary team is to provide delegated care which is safe, effective and person centred.

You will competently support the registered nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and support the maintenance of high standards contributing to the smooth running of the ward.

You will practice in an open, transparent and inclusive manner that is person centred at heart. It is essential that you are keen to learn, hardworking, adaptable and have excellent communication skills.
