The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Medical Secretary to join the Cardiology department at York Teaching Hospital for 37.5 hours per week. The role involves supporting Medical Secretaries and consultant teams by handling administrative tasks, including typing clinical and administrative letters, responding to patient and professional inquiries, and providing coverage during absences. Strong administration and audio-typing skills, alongside excellent organisational and communication abilities, are essential for managing a busy office environment effectively.
