The Wilf Ward Family Trust in York is seeking dedicated female Support Workers for night shifts, whose primary role is to empower individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. The position offers a unique and varied work environment, focusing on social engagement, personal care, household support, and the management of life skills, all while following individualized support plans.

No two days are the same in this role, some days are steady and others are hectic trying to fit everything in. You may have to juggle round appointments but that is the challenge and that is what makes the role interesting and gives you job satisfaction. On a day-to-day basis you will support with:
