An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Transcriptionist Team Leader to join our Administrative Team based at Leigh Moss Hospital, 7 Thomas Lane, Liverpool, L14 5NX.
The post holder will provide support to Consultants, Junior Doctors and Clinical Team within this service. Our team supports people who have mental health illness and are being treated in the Community. The multi- disciplinary team provide Community based support including assessment, treatment and psychosocial interventions to enable people to live well with their conditions.
Successful applicants will be able to organise their own workload and co-ordinate workload activities within the team. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly telephone manner. There is a need to be able to work to tight deadlines and withstand the pressure of a busy department and it is essential that you are able to work on your own initiative.
The post holder’s main duties will include planning, organising, directing and co-ordinating the work of the identified service. The post holder will be expected to work with the minimum of supervision.
You will be able to demonstrate flexibility and use your own initiative to carry out duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation, thus enabling the medical team to utilise their time in an efficient and effective manner.
The post holder will provide a confident professional service to all service users and their carers whilst supporting them throughout their pathway of care. It is vital that confidentiality be maintained at all times. The post holder must adhere to Trust Policies and Procedures at all times.
