Care Assistant Team Leader - SEN School - North West Location: North West (Exact location upon request) Salary: Competitive + Benefits Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Team Leader to manage a small team of support staff at a lovely SEN (Special Educational Needs) school in the North West. This is a unique and fulfilling opportunity to lead a team in a Komplex Care setting , providing essential care and support to children with complex needs in a nurturing, educational environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire a small team of support staff to deliver high-quality care to children with complex needs. Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of every child in line with individual care plans. Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering an environment of continuous learning. Work closely with school management and external agencies to create a holistic care approach. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports on the children’s and staff’s progress. Manage staff performance, conducting supervisions and appraisals, and supporting their professional development. Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment that encourages independence and personal growth for all children. What We’re Looking For Experience in supporting children with complex needs (ideally within a school or care setting). Proven experience as a Team Leader or in a supervisory role, demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A commitment to upholding high standards of care and support for vulnerable children.
