MBR Dental Recruitment is seeking an Urgent Care Dentist for a part-time position at an independent dental practice in York, North Yorkshire. The role involves working on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 5:15 pm, providing Urgent Care Sessions under the NHS, managing referrals, and possibly upselling private dentistry services. The practice offers a guaranteed day rate, operates 30-minute appointment blocks, and provides a supportive environment for both newly qualified and established dentists, with opportunities for professional development and financial support for courses.
Candidates must be GDC registered and hold an active Performer Number, with an Enhanced DBS certificate required upon request. - Independent practice.
- Available as soon as possible.
- Notice periods can be taken into consideration.
- Part time position, Wednesdays & Thursdays 8am-5.15pm.
- Dentist will be required to offer Urgent Care Sessions under the NHS.
- Opportunity for 1 session per week managing Band 3 and X-Ray referrals from Therapist.
- Guaranteed day rate with no loss of earnings for failures to attend.
- 14 patients at £36, equating to £504 per day worked.
- 30-minute appointment blocks with no time constraints.
- Opportunity to upsell Private dentistry alongside Urgent Care with a view to adding additional Private days to facilitate if wanted.
- Suitable for both newly qualified and more established dentists.
