The Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking qualified doctors for the position of Bank Clinical Fellow ST1/2 in Anaesthetics, based in Westcliff-On-Sea. This role involves flexible work across various specialties, with opportunities for single shifts, extended positions, and evening, weekend, or on-call duties as needed. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring safe patient care by coordinating with nurses, clinicians, and patients, participating in board and ward rounds, supervising staff, and maintaining high documentation standards.
Candidates must uphold Trust policies and values, arrive punctually for shifts, and complete local induction as required. As this position is on a bank basis, there are no guaranteed hours; however, to be linked to the Trust as a GMC-approved designated body, doctors are expected to work a minimum of 12 shifts per month. Essential qualifications include an MBBS or equivalent and full GMC registration, with at least 6-12 months of experience in a UK hospital preferred.
