Cygnet is hiring two full-time Assistant Psychologists for its Broughton House and Satellites facility in Brant Broughton, offering a salary of £26,500 per year. The role involves supporting individuals aged 16 and above with autism and learning disabilities, particularly those exhibiting challenging behaviors. Assistant Psychologists will assist with psychological assessments, clinical formulations, report writing, and contribute to the development of behavioral support and risk assessment strategies under the supervision of a qualified Psychologist. They will also participate in multi-disciplinary team reviews, conduct audits, and support the clinical administration of care programs.

Candidates should possess a strong background in psychology, with a relevant degree and ideally a postgraduate qualification. Prior experience in autism and learning disability services is essential, while experience as an Assistant Psychologist is preferred. The position requires a collaborative team player who demonstrates patience, commitment, and a genuine desire to support others, along with a solid understanding of therapeutic boundaries and evidence-based practices. Enhanced DBS and reference checks will be performed on all candidates, with a closing date for applications set for January 22, 2025.
