York High School is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Attendance Officer, who will liaise with students, families and staff to remove any significant barriers to attending school, and will work with Pastoral and SEN leaders to improve the attendance of identified pupils.
The successful candidate will need to be confident and able to communicate effectively with students, parents/carers, staff and external agencies as required. You may be required to travel independently to the homes of pupils and therefore should have your own vehicle and insurance for business use. You will be approachable and able to work collaboratively with parents/carers, and whilst it would be advantageous to have a working knowledge of our school Management Information System (SIMS), training will be provided.
