Kepak Group is seeking a full-time Meat Market Operative to join their team in Portlethen. The role involves the movement and rotation of red meat products in accordance with client specifications and company standard operating procedures (SOPs). Key responsibilities include unloading products, maintaining product quality, completing assigned tasks to meet daily targets, and complying with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will work in a chilled environment, handle products carefully, and report any issues or damages immediately to the Line Supervisor.

Kepak Mclntosh Donald are looking for a Meat Market Operative to join our team on full-time basis.

Working Pattern: 40h/week, Monday to Friday, 6am (need to be flexible with finish time)

Role Purpose

Responsible for stock movement and rotation of red meat for sale and consumption in accordance with client specifications and Company SOP's.

Requirements

Unload product from chills, moving to designated location
Handling product with care and consideration to maintaining quality and yields of meat
Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner to meet daily targets
Minimise and manage waste effectively/as instructed
Ensure product is of the highest standard, reporting any issues to the Line supervisor immediately
Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team to set up the meat market, complete checks and ensuring materials are ready to use
Perform all prestart, hygiene and safety checks as instructed
Maintaining good understanding and knowledge of customer specifications and yields
Complying with Company's health and safety rules, including hygiene requirements
Report all breakages, damages or defaults of equipment immediately to Line Supervisor, only using equipment when safe to do so
Reporting any accidents or near misses, assisting with investigations as instructed/necessary
Minimising and reporting of waste appropriately
Maintaining and securely storing tools and equipment
Actively participate in all required company training
Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder
