The Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Cancer Pathway Navigator for a fixed-term contract of 12 months in Farnworth. This role involves coordinating and managing the patient pathway from the diagnostic phase, ensuring effective communication among various stakeholders including consultants, cancer nurse specialists, multi-disciplinary team coordinators, GPs, patients, and their families. The post holder will collaborate closely with both primary and secondary care teams to provide a consistent and high-quality service throughout the cancer journey.

The ideal candidate will work within a well-established cancer services team, facilitating efficient appointment scheduling and fostering robust communication across departments. This position underlines the importance of teamwork to enhance patient care from referral onward, providing support for both patients and healthcare professionals involved in their treatment.
