The role of CBT Therapist/Psychological Practitioner/Psychologist (LTC) at the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust involves working with the Physical Health Rehabilitation Psychology (PHRP) team to provide specialized psychological support to patients with long-term health conditions (LTCs) such as COPD, diabetes, and cancer. The position, which is Band 7 with up to 22.5 hours available, requires the post holder to deliver psychological assessments and therapies, engage in collaborative care across primary and secondary health services, and contribute to teaching, training, and supervision within the team.

The successful candidate will operate within a biopsychosocial framework, emphasizing integrated care, compassion, and quality service delivery. They will also be responsible for developing clinical supervision for other practitioners and participating in audits and research to enhance service evaluation.
