The role of Bank Healthcare Assistant with Practice Plus Group involves joining a newly established healthcare team at HMP Millsike, a Category C men's prison located near York. This position offers an hourly wage of £14.71 and is full-time, with the opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of the prison population by supporting registered nurses in delivering care and following established care plans. The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive induction, access to professional development opportunities, and support from a dedicated team as they navigate the dynamic environment of the healthcare sector within a prison setting.
Candidates are expected to possess an NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to care.
