NHS Ayrshire and Arran is offering a position for a Primary Care Healthcare Support Worker, focused on delivering person-centered nursing care within GP practices in North Ayrshire. The successful candidate will join an integrated nursing team within the Community Treatment and Care Service, providing defined nursing interventions primarily in a community setting. While prior experience in community or general practice is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided.

What You Will Do
NHS Ayrshire and Arran are seeking to employ Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) to work within our developing Community Treatment and Care Service. This post will be based within General Practice in North Ayrshire HSCP working as part of an integrated nursing team model and wider General Practice multidisciplinary team.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of quality person centred nursing care and defined nursing interventions, primarily in a Community and Treatment Room Setting, to a cluster population and the wider locality.
Community/General Practice experience is desirable but not essential as learning required to fulfil the responsibilities of the post will be supported in practice.
