Stepping Stones Services is seeking local Supported Living Support Workers for waking night shifts in Manchester, specifically in the Rochdale or Chadderton area. This role involves providing support to individuals with various needs and disabilities, such as learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges, and complex care requirements, promoting their independence in their own homes. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, developing person-centered plans, helping individuals build relationships, managing finances, and facilitating community access, all while ensuring the safety and security of their living environment.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering training and career progression opportunities in the health and social care sector. Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK and will undergo an Enhanced DBS check. We are currently looking to recruit local support workers for a role we have in the Rochdale or Chadderton area. Stepping Stones Services deliver supported living and outreach support to those in the community. This is not a domiciliary/ call to call care organisation. This role is for waking nights only with set shifts from 10am-10pm. (Full time and part time available)

This may include assistance in any or all of the following areas: Bathing, Dressing, Mobility, Oral Hygiene and Supporting with their continence needs.
This role does require the need for moving and handling (training provided).

Due to the nature of the role, we carry out an Enhanced DBS check where you will be asked to declare any convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings that are not “protected” as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2
