The Priory Hospital in Droitwich Spa is seeking an experienced MSK Physiotherapist to join their Outpatients team on a bank shift basis, offering a competitive hourly rate of up to £22.00. The successful candidate will be a Chartered Physiotherapist with at least three years of experience in musculoskeletal care, particularly with a background in orthopaedics. Responsibilities will include managing a clinical caseload, providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment, and participating in patients’ pre-admission and follow-up care.
Candidates must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and demonstrate strong organisational skills, knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
- Chartered Physiotherapist.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- 3+ years of MSK experience is required.
- Must have Orthopaedic experience as the caseload can be high with post-op Orthopaedic cases.
- Knowledge of HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management.
- Degree level educated, or equivalent.
- To manage a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment to the highest standard, ensuring excellent patient care at all times.
- Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for relevant departments participating in these patients’ pre-admission and follow-up care as appropriate.
- To take an active role in supporting the implementation of national developments locally.
- To ensure the department maintains CHG Physiotherapy accreditation.
- Keep abreast of developments in physiotherapy by attending relevant courses and maintaining an up to date personal portfolio.
