Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a full-time Validation Officer / Team Leader for its Gynaecology Outpatient Booking POD at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport. The role involves validating outpatient, treatment, and follow-up waiting lists, particularly focusing on Referral to Treatment (RTT) pathways, ensuring compliance with Welsh Government targets. The successful candidate will also manage the outpatient booking clerks, overseeing their annual leave and sickness, while collaborating with the Service Administration Manager and other departments to facilitate timely patient care.

Applicants should have a good understanding of RTT rules and experience using the Welsh Patient Administration System (WPAS). Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and clerical experience within the NHS.
