Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is offering a part-time or full-time Band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist position for 12 months to cover maternity leave, based at Longbridge Health and Community Centre in South Birmingham. The role involves working with adults facing mental health challenges in a collaborative Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) environment. Candidates should have experience with complex mental health needs and be familiar with diverse communities, particularly under socioeconomic challenges. The position emphasises the application of psychological skills, including consultation, supervision, service development, and direct clinical work. Opportunities for research and teaching, as well as career development, are available within a supportive team structure.
