The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Associate Educator for Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW) in their theatre departments. This role focuses on supporting and developing Band 2 HCSWs by working alongside them, acting as a role model, and assisting with training initiatives. Their duties will include working alongside other Healthcare Support Workers whilst performing their duties, always acting as a role model and assisting with training days for these staff.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual that displays all the trust values in a professional manner. This individual will strive to lead by example, to ensure a high standard of basic care is provided for all of our patients. It is important that the individual has a kind, caring and understanding manner to complement their outstanding communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
The candidate would be expected to work independently within their scope of practice.
