The role of Public Health Nurse Assistant at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust involves supporting public health nursing activities primarily within school settings in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for weighing and measuring children in Reception and Year 6, entering data into IT systems, managing appointments, and delivering health promotion sessions. Working under the supervision of the School Health NCMP Coordinator and alongside School Nurses, the Public Health Nurse Assistant will also perform administrative tasks to support the team. This is a full-time, term-time position with a salary ranging from £31,944 to £34,937 per year.

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Public Health Nursing Assistant/Team Administrator.
You will be primarily based at our offices on Orsman Road and will be expected to travel to school sites to carry out the screening and deliver health promotion as needed.
The post holder will work within a team for a defined number of schools, and will work under the supervision of the School Health NCMP Coordinator, and lead by the Neighbourhood Leader. You will work closely with the School Nurses in their team. The post holder would also support team administrative team. The percentage of PHNA and administrative work would be subject to service needs.
