VSA's Linn Moor Campus in Peterculter is seeking an Ad-Hoc Relief Driver to transport staff to and from the campus. This role involves working varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, to support staff commutes from the City Centre. Candidates must hold a D1 driving license and ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness. Additional responsibilities may include covering for other drivers and performing basic DIY tasks around the campus as needed.
The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team, maintain composure under pressure, and demonstrate punctuality. While a good geographical knowledge of Aberdeen is desirable, it is not mandatory. The position offers flexibility in hours, with no guaranteed weekly shifts.

We are currently seeking a Driver on an Ad-Hoc basis whose main objective is to transport staff to and from Linn Moor Campus, you will work a mixture of morning, afternoon and evening shifts including some weekends in supporting our staff getting to and from the City Centre to our Campus in Peterculter. The role is ad-hoc so we can't guarantee shifts every week. It is essential that you have D1 on your Driving Licence.
As well as promoting the safety of passengers you will also be responsible for checking that vehicles are roadworthy at all times. On occasion you may be required to provide cover for other Campus based drivers which could involve transporting pupils and may also be responsible for some basic DIY tasks around the campus.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Driving staff to and from Linn Moor Campus in the morning, afternoons and evenings (as required to cover shifts) to deliver the staff bus run provision on place at the campus
Checking that vehicles are roadworthy at all times.
Driving vehicles in a careful and considerate manner to ensure safety of passengers.
Carrying out any other tasks, which may be required from time-to-time, provided these tasks are both reasonable and within the post-holder’s capabilities.
