The South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Practitioner Psychologist, Psychological Therapist, or Psychotherapist for a Band 7 position at River House, a Medium Secure Unit located at Bethlem Royal Hospital. This full-time role offers flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, emphasizing a healthy work-life balance. The position involves collaborating with the Brook Ward clinical team to deliver specialized clinical assessments and psychological interventions, including both individual and group therapies aimed at treating psychological distress and reducing risk. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team, providing both inpatient and community-based psychological services while also engaging in professional development opportunities and contributing to research and evaluation activities.

The role is suited for both newly qualified practitioners and those with prior experience in forensic settings. The male rehabilitation ward supports service users in their therapeutic and recovery journeys, and the position allows for integration with other mental health services, including low secure provisions, community forensic teams, and criminal justice agencies.
