The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant for its Acute Medical Unit (AMU) in Uxbridge. In this role, the Healthcare Assistant will provide patient-centered and compassionate care under the supervision of registered nursing staff, ensuring that patients are in a safe environment while respecting their privacy and dignity. Key responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, and feeding, as well as maintaining high infection control standards and effective communication through verbal and written reports.

This full-time position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Successful candidates will receive training opportunities, including the Essential Care Certificate within their first six months. The Trust prioritizes patient and staff safety and is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services while working collaboratively with local partners to enhance community well-being.
