NHS Scotland is seeking a flexible and dynamic Health Visitor to join the Fraserburgh team in Aberdeenshire. This role involves managing a diverse caseload, including child protection cases, in a predominantly rural area known for its agriculture, forestry, and fishing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage own caseload with a focus on child protection and family support.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, embracing the skill mix approach.
  • Provide high-quality early intervention services as part of the Universal HV Pathway.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in health visiting, particularly in multi-agency settings and child protection, is desirable but not essential; newly qualified health visitors are encouraged to apply.
  • A good sense of humor and resilience are key attributes.

Location: Fraserburgh, a developing fishing town with a growing young family population, located about 1.5 hours from Aberdeen.
