Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking an enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker for the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and the Acute Care of the Elderly Unit (ACE) in Pontyclun. This busy 38-bed unit handles medical admissions from various sources and requires a team-oriented individual who excels in high-pressure environments. Responsibilities include assisting qualified nurses with patients' basic nursing needs, performing vital observations, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness and stock levels, and documenting patient information. While previous hospital experience is preferred, candidates without it are also encouraged to apply.

Ideal applicants should possess excellent communication skills and a good standard of literacy and numeracy to interact effectively with the healthcare team and document patient care accurately.
