Locala Health & Wellbeing is seeking a Band B dentist for a full-time, salaried position in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will provide high-quality dental care to children and adults, particularly those with complex medical conditions, learning difficulties, and unique dental needs who cannot access general dental services. The role entails working in community clinics and providing domiciliary care, requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Candidates must be registered with the General Dental Council, have completed vocational training, hold a driving license, and have regular travel access. Main duties of the job
We have a vacancy for a salaried clinician to provide care for children and adults who cannot access the General Dental Service. This post involves providing high quality care to children and adults including those with complex medical co-morbidities, learning difficulties, patient management issues, and complex dental needs in Huddersfield and Halifax. Care will be provided in community clinics and in domiciliary settings.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Equally important is the ability to build good working relationships and be an effective team player. You will be supported by specialist clinicians in paediatric and special care dentistry and encouraged to develop your skills and learning.
The successful applicants must be fully registered with the General Dental Council and have completed vocational training, be able to obtain a Performer Number & pin number to work within NHS Primary Care Dentistry, hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle due to the requirement for regular travel. The posts will require the relevant disclosure check with the Criminal Records Bureau.
