The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate and motivated Senior Dental Officer for its Community Dental Service in Barrow-In-Furness. The role involves providing comprehensive dental care, mainly at Barrow Dental Centre, for vulnerable patients, including children and adults with special care needs. The position requires effective communication skills, experience in inhalation and intravenous sedation, and the ability to travel to various clinic locations. The position is offered on a full-time or part-time basis (up to 30 hours per week) with a salary range of £74,126 to £86,701 per annum, pro rata. The ideal candidate will be experienced at the provision of both inhalation and intravenous sedation to dental patients.
Post holders will be expected to travel to other clinic locations in Furness and South lakes. Provision of care under general anaesthesia will be a key element of the job and this is provided at Furness General Hospital.
