Pharmacy Technician and Support Staff Lead with NHS England in Leeds, England, United Kingdom
We are looking to recruit a Pharmacy Technician and Support Staff Lead to work in our innovative North East and Yorkshire School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation. The purpose of the Lead for Pharmacy Technician Training is to oversee and lead work on the development and delivery of workstreams specifically for the pharmacy technician and support staff workforce. This work is underpinned by the need for a flexible, productive and affordable healthcare workforce that meets the needs of patients, reflecting evolving care pathways and the values set out in the NHS Constitution. The post holder will coordinate a range of projects, from proof-of-concept work to integrating emerging workstreams with established programmes. The postholder will be working as part of the North East and Yorkshire Regional Pharmacy team but will be expected to work with NHSE’s National Pharmacy team and other relevant stakeholders across the system. Achieving This Will Include Engaging with senior stakeholders, developing and maintaining relationships with a range of key stakeholders (internal and external) across all programme areas, identifying areas of interdependency and forging links as appropriate e.g. employers and professional organisations. Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
