The Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a passionate Specialist Haemato-Oncology and Palliative Care (HOPe) Therapy Assistant to join their new multidisciplinary team on a fixed-term basis until March 2026. This role involves developing and delivering high-quality therapy services for patients with various cancer diagnoses and complex, life-limiting conditions. Working under the supervision of registered therapists, the post holder will carry out therapeutic interventions in community and outpatient settings, aiming to enhance patients' quality of life, facilitate optimal function, and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

The position requires collaboration with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and dieticians to implement evidence-based rehabilitation and education programs tailored to individual patient needs. Applicants must have access to a vehicle and a clean driving license, as the role involves home visits.
