Job Summary: Senior Psychologist at HMP Lewes, Practice Plus Group
Practice Plus Group is seeking a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist to join their integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Lewes, a category B prison in East Sussex, accommodating around 740 individuals, many with neurodiversity and complex trauma. This part-time role, on a fixed-term contract starting February 2025, involves clinical oversight, psychological assessments, and the delivery of one-on-one and group interventions as part of a trauma-informed care approach. The successful candidate will collaborate with a supportive team, including assistant psychologists and occupational therapists, and will be involved in training and service development within a psychologically informed environment.
Candidates must hold full HCPC registration, possess post-qualification experience in Clinical or Forensic Psychology, and have a background in working with forensic mental health patients.
