About The Role Kingsley Healthcare proudly presents Park View, our luxurious modern care home overlooking the historic Prince's Park in Liverpool. Nestled on a peaceful, tree-lined road and just a short walk from Sefton Park, Park View offers a tranquil and welcoming environment. Park View provides exceptional 24-hour nursing, dementia, and residential care for up to 56 residents, whether for long or short-term stays. Our highly skilled and compassionate team ensures an unparalleled level of personalised care, setting a new benchmark for excellence in the local area. We are seeking a Home Manager with a proven track record in delivering high-quality care, strong business acumen, and marketing skills. In this role, you'll have the autonomy to guide our home towards an Outstanding CQC rating while leading our dedicated team. As our Care Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home. As a regulated business, we expect the candidate to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and be familiar with all the relevant legislation and regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to our residents, whilst meeting financial targets and maintaining full occupancy. You will be supported externally by dedicated Operations and Central teams, and within the home you will have the support of a Deputy Manager and Administrator, as well as Hospitality and Housekeeping teams. These teams will collaborate with you to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care for our residents. Reports to: Operations Manager Key duties and responsibilities ⢠Provide leadership and direction to the homeâs staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy. ⢠Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals committed to delivering person-centred care. ⢠Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support. ⢠Manage the homeâs budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed. ⢠Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the homeâs services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders. ⢠Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns. ⢠Oversee all records to ensure the homeâs administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. ⢠Continuously monitor and evaluate the homeâs performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. ⢠Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff. Skills and attributes Previous experience managing a nursing home. A strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a proven record of working towards achieving Outstanding ratings. Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external professionals, families, and visitors. A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful care home. Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care. Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service. Education and qualification Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience. What will you gain?
