Job Summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Chapel Allerton Hospital Clinical Services Unit (CSU), which predominantly will be covering Complex Rehabilitation and Rheumatology as Assistant Patient Services Coordinator (APSC). We are looking for a motivated individual with an appetite to further develop their skills in this exciting and challenging role supporting Chapel Allertons CSUs vision to be the hospital of choice for our services. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in achieving this vision Applicants should have experience of patient administration processes and staff management including recruitment, along with the ability to identify and implement service improvements Main duties of the job The role will involve managing patients through their pathways in line with local and national policies. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the CSUs administration staff and will be involved in the day to day operational management of the patient administration service at Chapel Allerton. The Assistant PSC will manage their defined areas within the speciality and will be responsible for prioritising work, developing staff, reviewing working practices to ensure the effective running of the department and effective communication structures are implemented. They will ensure that processes/procedures comply with legislation requirements covering Health & Safety, Data Protection and Confidentiality.
